Royal Ambassadors
Royal Ambassadors is a Southern Baptist mission
education program for boys in grades 1-6. RA’s
are designed to encourage boys to live an “on
mission” lifestyle. Missionaries from around the
world are studied each week, along with Bible
memorization, understanding, and application.
RA’s includes many activities for boys to participate
in, including camping, attending sports events,
raising money for mission work, and praying weekly
for missionaries. The boys also receive badges and
pins for completing steps in their advancement
books.
The Royal Ambassadors have enjoyed a variety of activities. We have attended Durham Bulls and Campbell University baseball
games. We have also participated in RA DAY at Campbell University which includes lunch and a men's basketball game among many other activities. For several years we have been able to be a part of the annual RA CAMPOREE at Camp Caraway in September and the Father/Son camp in Spring. Last year we attended our first Wake Forest University Football game. We are looking forward to our upcoming events this year as well.
RA’s meet every Wednesday from 7-8pm. Our
motto is II Corinthians 5:20, “We are ambassadors
for Christ”.
ROYAL AMBASSADOR PLEDGE
As a Royal Ambassador I will do my best:
to become a well-informed, responsible
follower of
Christ;
to have a Christlike concern for all people;
to learn how to carry the message of Christ around the world;
to work with others in sharing Christ; and
to keep myself clean and health in mind and body.
If you are a boy in grades 1-6, COME JOIN US, and
see what ROYAL AMBASSADORS are all about!
